Duct Tape sticks to Fish

Stu wasted not time at all and grabbed some nearby fish and began taping them to the runners on the rocker.

The chair was pretty large and he figured he would be able to get the appropriate number mounted before the tape began to slack off.

Elizabethan Rocker

All Stu needed now to make a grand escape was a chair.

When he turned abound to look for one he couldn't believe his eyes.

There not 20 feet away was an Elizabethan Rocker seemingly floating on the water.

The local inhabitants were just as amazed.

Stu had never pulled off a stunt like this with a rocker before... But you don't get swallowed by a sea monster every day.

The rocker would just have to do.

All I Need

Stu couldn't believe it!

He dug deep into the barrel and found all he needed!

He found..

An Ashtray,

A Paddle Game,

A Remote Control,

Matches,

and a Lamp!

The only thing he could think of to make his escape easier... was a chair.

Salvage

The lid had popped on one of the barrels, so Stu scouted around to see what he could salvage.

The barrel's contents were soaked and mostly missing. Oh where, Oh where had all his precious supplies gone.

Thursday, November 18, 2004

Treasures

Stu's foot bumped upon a solid object which he bent down to view.

He pushed aside the flopping fish and there it was..

.. his treasured compass!!!

Thursday, November 11, 2004

Trashed Raft

As Stu dragged himself from under the fish, he saw something wonderful.

To his absolute amazement - right before him was his RAFT!

It was trashed, but most of the items that he had lashed down seemed intact!

Tuesday, November 9, 2004

Slip Tunneling

Stu tunneled under the pile of fish for what seemed an eternity.

The tunneling wasn't all that bad actually - fish tend to provide a slippery surface.

When he believed he was safe from the Gastro Intestinal Vulture he headed for the surface.

Friday, November 5, 2004

Fish Diving

Stu hit the pile of fish and swam for the bottom as quickly as he could.

Tuesday, November 2, 2004

Take Cover

Stu had the normal instinct to "Fight or Flight" and found flight a better option.

He dove with all his might, and got quite a good launch even off some slimy slippery fish.

Monday, November 1, 2004

Stomach Birds

Out of absolutely nowhere came a dreaded Gastro-Intestinal Vulture.

It startled Stu so badly he dropped the flounder and nearly wet himself.

Monday, October 25, 2004

Flounder Pounder

Stu looked under himself to see what had broken - it was a flounder.

It certainly was unfortunate for the flounder - but Stu was thankful from the depths of his heart. :)

Thursday, October 21, 2004

Squishy Fishy

Stu hit as hard as you can possibly hit a gigantic pile of fish.

He heard something break and he was sure it was his back.

Wednesday, October 20, 2004

Fall

Somewhere a leaf floated gently to the ground.. exactly NOT like Stu was falling.

Monday, October 18, 2004

Swallowed Alive

All of a sudden there was an incredible deluge of sea water.

Stu was caught in the torrent and headed directly for the nearby gullet!

Wednesday, October 6, 2004

Collapsing Cave

Stu turned around quickly and saw the cave entrance collapsing.

It was certainly the weirdest looking event he had seen in a long time.. But fit in well somehow with the other weird things.. Yet he couldn't place it.

:)

Tuesday, October 5, 2004

Beastly Yell

Almost instantly there was an inconceivable yell from deep in the cave.. It nearly knocked Stu off his feet.

Wednesday, September 22, 2004

Lost and Found

Stu steadied himself on the lobe and his hand touched something sharp.. it was HIS HOOK!

He hadn't seen it since the last time he was fishing!

He grabbed it firmly and with one quick jerk.. pulled it free.. which turned out to be a bad idea!

Tuesday, September 21, 2004

You view luh

Stu found the squishy ground too weird to crawl on and stood up.

He then walked right into the biggest uvula-looking thing he had ever seen.

Weird how something as curious as a pendant fleshy lobe would be hanging in a cave...

Monday, September 20, 2004

Weird Cave

Stu crawled on and noticed the texture of the cave floor change.

It went from wet and sandy to a really weird squishy floor.

Stu's eyes burned and watered a bit due to the awful stench of the cave.

Friday, September 17, 2004

Dim Damp Passage

Stu couldn't see diddly as he crawled thru the opening.

The air was humid and hard to breathe, but Stu crawled further into the darkness..

Wednesday, September 15, 2004

Skull Arrow

Once Stu drip dried he looked around the under sea cave.

He found tons of skulls and bones.. and then he spotted something quite curious..

A small group of skulls were formed into an arrow pointing toward a small opening in the rocks.

Tuesday, September 7, 2004

Not Expected

Stu surfaced and took a much needed breath of air.

He glanced around and realized he was in a place very much unlike where he wanted to be.

Thursday, September 2, 2004

Shimmering Light

Stu floated for a moment not really knowing which way was up.. Then he saw a shimmering light. Somewhere high above him light was beaming into the water... He flailed a bit, but made his way toward the light.

Wednesday, September 1, 2004

Losing his Grip

Stu's hand got a terrible cramp and he could not hold the fishing pole any longer.

He let the handle slip away into the darkness..

Tuesday, August 31, 2004

In the Dark

Within seconds in the lair... The light was gone and it was totally dark.

Stu hung onto the fishing pole as tightly as he could.

He had the feeling of running carelessly in the dark... Knowing that a sudden stop would certainly hurt.

Saturday, August 28, 2004

Under Sea Cave

Stu hung on and soon found himself being led right into the Sea Creature's Lair!

Wednesday, August 25, 2004

Fishing?

OH, the joys of fishing and being on an adventure all in one!

Tuesday, August 24, 2004

Gotcha!

Stu had initial thoughts of satisfaction as he realized he had hooked his dinner...

Yet within a split second, before he could let go, he was pulled off his feet!

Monday, August 23, 2004

A Luring

Stu wasn't much of a fisherlemming and figured he didn't need bait... He figured the lure of the lure itself would do the trick.

The sea monster was more puzzled than anything.. Since the tasty morsel was still on the other end of the line.

Friday, August 20, 2004

Found It

Stu dug until he found what he was looking for!

His trusty fish hook!

He figured that dark shadow below was good for eatin'!

:)

Wednesday, August 18, 2004

Dig in the Barrel

Stu knew exactly what to do... he quickly dug thru his supply barrel.

There was a specific item he needed and he needed it quickly!

Monday, August 16, 2004

Shadows in the Deep

Stu jumped to his feet when he saw the dark shadow below.

It circled slowly past several times. Stu froze as he thought of what he should do next...

More Samples

Meanwhile...

The droid was continuing its job of collecting various samples of life on this planet.

Thursday, August 12, 2004

Under the Sea

The view of Stu's little raft from underneath was quite inviting for hungry sea creatures.

Especially little feet dangling in the water...

Tuesday, August 10, 2004

Cool Clear Water

Stu tied off the line to the sail and dangled his feet in the cool water.

It was refreshing and relaxing all at the same time. What a life.

Thursday, August 5, 2004

Creatures in the Sea

Slowly the sea monster rose from the depths.

It scanned the horizon for it's next meal.. Preferably a nice juicy lemming.

Friday, July 30, 2004

Looking Back

You know, when you make a decision and begin pursuing an adventure... There will always be one tiny part of you that says..."Wait, we should go back... It's safer."

Stu ignored the voice and simply looked at the coastline and knew that with a good rudder - things will be OK.

Tuesday, July 27, 2004

Bon Voyage

Stu's uncanny ability to not see the danger ahead kept a smile on his face as the wind gently filled the sails and he slowly drifted away from the island.

Gentle Winds and Following Seas.

Thursday, July 22, 2004

Launch

Stu slowly pushed the supply-laden raft into the lagoon water.

The weather looked favorable and the slight breeze was  a good sign!

Wednesday, July 21, 2004

Tie Down

Stu took extra care to secure all his adventure supplies to the deck of his raft.

Nothing is worse that watching your belongings roll off into the drink while you're busy messing with the sails.

Friday, July 16, 2004

Samples

Somewhere on a nearby island a small droid is collecting samples for inventory.

A fine specimen of flowering plant is to be the next item teleported to the lab...

Thursday, July 15, 2004

Family Heirloom

Stu packed his survival supplies and then grabbed his most precious possession... the family compass.

It has been in the family for 300 generations... which for lemmings is about 42 years.

Wednesday, July 14, 2004

Finished with the Raft

With all his new found skill... Stu was able to construct a vessel that resembled the model. He just hoped all the glue would hold tight on the open seas.

Tuesday, July 13, 2004

Modeling 101 - Passed

Stu realized that building a sea-worthy ocean going craft will be tougher than it looks... but he was pleased with the model none the less.

:)

Wednesday, June 30, 2004

Model

Stu figured that he should build a scale model of the raft before he attempted to build a real one.

That way he would know some of the complications ahead of him...

Monday, June 28, 2004

Great Escape

Stu had a terrible dream.

He was locked inside a gigantic cage and had to plot an escape.

He woke in a cold sweat.

Thursday, June 24, 2004

D-Rafting

Once Stu realized the cryptic message was a location NEAR his own island... he began sketching a vessel.

Friday, June 18, 2004

Global Study

Stu had a brainstorm.

He looked again at the plank he had found floating at the waters edge.

Could the numbers and letters possibly be coordinates?

Tuesday, June 15, 2004

Packing

One can never fully anticipate the future.

Stu did his best to pack based on the items he needed on previous adventures.

Monday, June 14, 2004

Drone

Somewhere remote a robot droid searched the landscape for signs of life.

So far... nothing.
